Sunday Suppers

You ready for another "no leftovers" recipe?  Ready or not, here it is.  I got this one from my sis-n-law a long time ago.  I wonder if she remembers giving it to me?  Anyway it's a big hit among the church going folks we know.   By the way, for this recipe I used the Kitchen Aid to shred the chicken and the wondrous Pampered Chef food chopper to chop the broccoli.

Cheesy Chicken Broccoli Bake
1 Box Chicken Flavored Stove Top Stuffing mix
1/2 stick of butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
About 1 C chopped broccoli (add more if you really like broccoli)
1 bag (2 cup size) of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 C milk (not pictured)
About 2 Cups of chopped or shredded cooked chicken (also not pictured)

Prepare the stuffing mix according to box directions.  That is what your 1/2 stick of butter is for.  When the stuffing is prepared stir into it the chopped broccoli, 1 C of the cheese, milk, chopped chicken and cream of chicken soup.  Mix it all together and pour it into a 9 x 13 baking dish.

Top with the remaining cup of shredded cheese. Bake it on 350 for about 40 minutes.
