Check out this ad from 1934. It's a hoot. Makes me think I might have been born into the wrong generation! If skinny goes chubby was popular, I could have been their spokeswoman! And I did it all without the help of Kelp-A-Malt. Sounds disgusting. I can think of tastier ways to add on 5 pounds of solid flesh in 1 week. Looking at the picture though, makes me wonder if "skinny" was just the polite 1930's way of saying flat chested.
