Sunday Suppers- Part 3

Cinnamon Rolls
Scroll down for Parts 1 and 2

Once your rolls have risen they should be all puffy like this. That means they are ready to bake. Heat the oven up to 375 and slide them in for about 30 minutes.
Don't over cook them, you want the dough to stay soft.

While your rolls are cooking you need to prepare your icing. I got this recipe from the Top Secret cookbook.  I love it!! I could eat the icing all by itself! It's an identical copy of what Cinabon icing tastes like.
Whip together in a mixer:
1 Stick of butter softened
2 oz of cream cheese (don'tuse the whole pack just because I have the whole pack pictured here)
1 1/2 Cups of powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
The icing will be thick. Don't be tempted to add milk to thin it out.  It's supposed to be thick.

Your baked rolls will be golden on top and light on bottom.

Spoon out your icing and spread it onto the hot, fresh out of the oven rolls.

The heat of the rolls will melt the icing and it will run all down into the nooks and crannies.
Well there you have it folks. Homemade cinnamon rolls. Enjoy!
