USS San Antonio

Lee's ship LPD-17 otherwise known as the USS San Antonio. Lee has already been to sea for a short time, and I am SURE there will be plenty more times during the next two years. So far he says he is enjoying his new job. Being a sailor stationed on a ship is quite different than being stationed in a hospital or with Marines. He is working hard at making the adjustments needed. Lee will have to fill you in on all the finer details of the ship if you are interested. All I know is that it is a very large, gray, intimidating piece of machinery. It is very impressive to be see her docked at the pier alongside battleships, cruisers and carriers. Come visit us and we will take you to the pier, then you can have your own personal look at what your country's navy has to offer. You won't be disappointed.
